Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.

unmasked screens connections to your game servers, returning an allow, block or challenge decision based on IP intelligence, connection fingerprints and the rules you configure, plus related analytics, lists, Airlock verification, lockdown controls and alerting. It is a tool to inform your own moderation decisions; you remain responsible for who you allow or block.

You are responsible for your credentials, your API keys and all activity under them. Keep API keys secret: anyone holding a key can make requests billed to you. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to, and not to permit anyone to:

• use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others, including privacy rights;
• resell or expose the Service or its data to third parties except to run your own servers;
• probe, scrape, overload, circumvent rate limits, or attempt unauthorized access;
• submit data you have no right to submit, or build a competing product;
• use connection or fingerprint signals to unlawfully discriminate against, harass, or de-anonymize players.

We may rate-limit, suspend or terminate access we believe violates these Terms.

To provide the Service you send us data about connecting players, which may include IP addresses, usernames, UUIDs and client fingerprint traits ("Player Data"). You control Player Data and we process it on your behalf, subject to your retention and privacy settings. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for telling your players how their data is used. We delete or anonymize it per your plan's retention window.

You keep all rights to the rules, lists, branding and messages you configure, and grant us a limited license to host and process them to operate the Service. You are responsible for the lawfulness of content you upload.

Paid plans are billed per company in advance, through our payment processor or arranged manually (including crypto) where offered. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Plan limits are enforced as described on the pricing page and may change with notice.

The Service is provided "as is" and at your own risk. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that it will catch any given VPN, proxy, bot or alt. Expect false positives and false negatives, and keep your own backups and safeguards. You are responsible for every outcome of your rules, including players wrongly admitted or wrongly blocked.

The Service relies on third parties, including IP-intelligence, captcha and payment providers. Your use of those features is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, unmasked disclaims all warranties, express or implied. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You will indemnify and hold harmless unmasked from any claims, damages and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, the data you submit, your moderation decisions, your breach of these Terms or any law, or disputes between you and your players.

You can close your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate your access, and add, change or discontinue any part of the Service, at any time for any reason and without notice or liability. Fees already paid aren't refunded except where required by law, and the disclaimers, liability and indemnification terms survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting a notice in the dashboard or updating the date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
